Games, Guns, Gazongas

Ah yes, and all the other things that make life worth living.

El Gato le gusta las Gazongas!

Mid-Holiday Stuff

Ha ha, the picture above is one I found on the net. If I could get the cat to hold a SIG P220 and a copy of Gunstar Heroes, it would be Games, Guns, Gazongas. . . and Gatos!

Yawn.

So, Giftmas is over. . . . can't say I'm sorry to see it go. It was nice to have a low-key holiday for once. I got to spend a day with my brothers (two of them, at least) and my dad, and the date of December twenty-gift-th didn't make it any better than any other time I get to hang out with my family. It's always good to hang out with my family, because my family is awesome!

As is the tradition, there was gift exchanging. I got five pounds of various gunpowders, the last torpedo ever made (har), and the kick-ass aperture sights I wanted for my rifle. Huzzah! Plus some cash, some of which I handed to Wal-Mart in exchange for as many $5 DVDs as I could carry. The rest will probably go to them as well. . . I will most likely get myself a digital camera this week, so I can take my own pics to post, whenever I like. Nya ah ah.

Brother in Vegas is doing just fine. He is over his death cold, and immersed in dealer's school. Further bulletins as events warrant.

My mom is still busy with small humans and my sister in Utah. I guess it's not very nice to refer to my niece and nephews as "spawn", so I won't. Anymore. Har. I can't wait to teach them how to shoot. . .

I have no plans for this week, or for New Year's. Not festive plans, anyway. . . I am gonna take an inventory of all the shooting supplies I have (and give serious thought to purchasing a fire-rated safe to store the gunpowder in), brush all the cats, play many hours of video games (Star Ocean totally rocks) and wish I was closer to Ace Combat 5 with the flight stick controller, which is at my brothers' place. . . In other words, the usual. Once I have a camera, I will document the non-festivites, and maybe for once take a good picture of myself to put on the site. I may even shave first, gasp!

Well then. . . y'all have a good holiday season.

Just like it says. The parking lot was dry that night, and this is what my brothers woke up to. Isn't it pretty?. . .

. . . but it's not so much fun when you have to drive through several hundred miles of it. . .

And here's my sister and family! That's Jody and her husband David. . . the little ones, from the left, are Benjamin, Thomas, and Jane.

Gonna be a quiet holiday

Here we are, only. . .um. . . several days left to shop for christmas. I don't even know, nor do I care. I am less than festive by nature. Any of my friends already know that I'm festive enough throughout the year, so why pack it all into the last week of the year?

Some news to report. My older brother is all relocated to Vegas; he's in his new apartment and everything. His address and phone are. . . har har, like I'd do that. Younger brother is on his way home, with a couple of pit-stops in other states. What a road whore he is! Too bad the weather isn't gonna be the most cooperative. My mom is still out west until January; she's spending the holiday with my younger sister and her family. Apparently, it's more fun to be around very young screaming kids at christmas, as oppposed to a bunch of lethargic 30-ish bachelors. To each their own.

I have been filling my time with Hot Shots Golf Fore, new Urusei Yatsura, and Star Ocean. Golf, of course, is always fun to pick up and play. Fore has lots more to unlock than the previous game; it's going to be a while before I even have all the courses unlocked. As for Star Ocean. . . I just started with plot advancement, after spending 5 hours trying to recruit 3 inventors. Worth it or not? Time will tell. . . Anyone who has never heard of Urusei Yatsura must be blind or clinically retarded. OK, that's a bit harsh, but the series keeps getting better and better. So far I have all the DVDs released, that's up to number. . .um. . . 35. There are 49 DVDs to be released, so there's lots more Lum to obtain. And if I wasn't staying up late watching the science channels, I would be farther ahead in reading The Dark Tower. I really need to finish that up, since I have 15 other books waiting to read, and someone is waiting to borrow Dark Tower. Sorry Joe! I'll get to it!

Work is just fine, although surprisingly busy for mid-winter. I am convinced that I need a seriously long vacation. . . I am just bored all the time lately. Either that, or I need to just change careers, maybe become a welder or a lottery winner or something. I would really like to be in the army and be a tank driver or artillery dude, just for a change of pace. To that end, I will most likely be joining a sportsman's club so I can shoot indoors during the winter. Shooting is cool.

Well then. . . thank you for reading my tripe. Hopefully next time there will be a gallery of self-portraits to post. TTFN.
