Pre-Anime USA

Oh joy, it's almost here! Huzzah! I am all quivery-like with anticipation. The Holy Grail of anime conventions, Anime USA, is in Leesburg VA this coming weekend. Everything about this con just rocks. . . the car trip there, the thursday night in the hotel room, the great hotel and Tyson's Corner mall, the convention itself, getting to see all the cool people from Virginia, etc, etc. . . the list goes on. This is the one convention that started out awesome, and has stayed awesome.

This year I will be running my own workshop. I will be teaching people how to play Mah Jongg. Whee! Fun! I hope lotsa people turn out for it. Hell, I bought 15 friggin' Mah Jongg sets, it would be a shame to not use them.

I plan on taking tons and tons of pictures this time. I'm not the creepy voyeur type who stops people in the middle of the convention to take their picture. Sure, there's lots of cute girls walking around half-naked, but if they aren't wearing costumes from anime I like, then I'm just stopping a cute girl to take her picture for no reason. Creepy. That means most of my pictures will end up being of my friends and the hotel and stuff. God willing, maybe there will even be one or two of me.
